As we announced earlier today, Orion Money’s initial decentralized offering(IDO) for the $ORION token will take place on Polkastarter on Wednesday, September 29 at 1 p.m. UTC (9 a.m. EST).

Note: Winners of the Orion Money community lottery do not need to hold POLS tokens to participate, but still will need to pass KYC.
Whitelist conditions
- Duration of the whitelist: From September 15, 2021 2:00 pm EDT to September 23, 2021 11:59 pm EDT
- Polkastarter Whitelist requirement: Hold at least 250 POLS for a minimum period of 7 days. Learn more about the Polkastarter Whitelist requirements here
- Orion Money community lottery requirement: no POLS tokens are required, but you need to do all actions to maximize your chances of winning one of 100 IDO spots.
Whitelisting Sweepwidget Campaign & Lottery
First and foremost, the Orion Money team would like to say how grateful we are for all the support and excitement in our community. To thank our community, in addition to the Polkastarter IDO whitelisting selection, we will also run a separate lottery to give out an extra 100 IDO allocations for community members.
When you participate in the Sweepwidget campaign:
- You will enter the lottery for Polkastarter’s IDO Whitelist, for a chance to win a $400 IDO allocation; AND
- You will enter Orion Money’s community lottery, where based on the actions completed in the SweepWidget campaign, 100 lucky winners will get a chance to win a $400 IDO allocation slot each.
You do not need to hold POLS in order to be eligible for the community lottery.

- Login with your full name and e-mail address (we will contact winners by email)
- Enter your wallet address (ERC-20) to whitelist for the IDO
- Type your country of residence
- Complete as many actions in the SweepWidget campaign as you can — the more actions you complete, the higher the chance of you winning an IDO slot.
You earn points for actions — with most of the actions giving 1 entry each, except that referring friends to sign up for the SweepWidget campaign and tweeting and tagging 3 friends will give you 5 entries into the lottery.
Important Information
Whitelist entries will be filtered and the following will be disqualified:
- Invalid ERC-20/ addresses
- Entries by bots
- Duplicate entries
- Entries with any incomplete steps in the process as described above
- After the whitelisting process closes (September 23, 2021 10 p.m. UTC), a randomized draw will generate a list of 100 users approved for the IDO. The remaining spots will be subject to the Polkastarter whitelist and lottery process as mentioned before.
- The approved users will receive an email from contact@orion.money
- Once the email is received — whitelisted entries will have 72 hrs to pass the KYC process
